Carntogher 'Healthy Living' Project
The Carntogher Healthy Living Project aims to improve the general health and social well being of the local community by providing opportunities for all age groups to become educated and empowered to take control of their own health.
Carntogher Community ‘Stay Active’
Local members from the Carntogher/Maghera area have been enjoying weekly activities over the summer as part of a newly established Carntogher ‘Stay Active Club’. The club runs ever Tuesday from 10am – 1.00 at An Carn Resource Centre and the aim is to improve the quality and well being of the lives of the participants while addressing a wide range of health wellbeing issues.
Carntogher 'Stay Active' Club launched
As part of the overall Healthy Living Project a club specifically for Over 50's has been launched called 'Stay Active' Club. The club will run every Tuesday morning from 10am - 1pm and is open to both male & females.

Diane McClean will deliver a talk and presentation on her gardening knowledge @ 10.30am followed by a walk around out beautiful garden.
