Feis Charn Tóchair aims to to promote and celebrate the revival of the Irish language and culture in County Derry. There are a wide variety of competitions suitable for both fluent Irish speakers and basic learners.
Feis Charn Tóchair 2010
After the success of Feis Carn Tóchair in 2009, Carntogher Community Association has decided to make it an annual event. The aims of Feis Charn Tóchair are to promote and celebrate the revival of the Irish language and culture in County Derry. There will be a variety of sections in the feis which will be suitable for a wide range of age groups, for both fluent Irish speakers and basic learners. The Feis Competitions, including an award ceremony for the Art and Writing competitions will take place in An Carn, (Tirkane Road, Maghera) on Saturday 12th June.
