Irish Night
The newly formed Cumann Ghaelach Charn Tóchair are organising an Oíche Ghaelach Irish Night in Rafters, Swatragh on Sunday 27 December.
Feis Charn Tóchair: Scholarship Presentation.
A scholarship award ceremony took place on Friday 18 December. These were the scholarships won by the students as part of Feis Charn Tóchair in June 2009.

Ógras is an all Ireland youth organisation for teenagers between the ages of 13 - 18 years. It provides the opportunity for young gaels to use their Gaeilge.

Irish Language Short Course at An Carn
An Carn will host its annual adult Irish language short course again this year on Saturday 4th September from 10:00am to 4:00 pm. The tutors this year, Neil Comer, Pól Mac Giolla Eoin and Seán Fearron, will provide beginner, intermediate and advanced classes.
