Craic and Enjoyment @ an Carn

An Carn would like to say ‘go raibh maith agat’ to the teachers. Seán Mac Giolla Fhiondáin and Ciara Uí Mhaoláin, who take the beginner and intermediate classes, kept score and made sure everything was in order, while the advanced class teacher, Séamus Mac Conmidhe, was quizmaster. A great night was had by all. The participants came up with some very original names for their teams, as well as some original answers for some of the tougher questions!  .

Thanks too to Méadhbh Ní Fhlannagáin, Joe Ó Dochartaigh and Máirtín Birt for preparing the rooms throughout the term and making sure that everyone had their ‘cupán tae’ throughout the course.

The adult Irish language classes will resume after the Christmas Holidays on Monday 11^th January and will continue for twelve weeks.  Due to the demand, there will be an extra intermediate class provided, increasing the number of classes to four.
