Extension to Club Iarscoile

Thanks to funding from Foras na Gaeilge two new youth development officers have been appointed and the Club Iarscoile after-schools club has now been extended to include pupils from all classes at the Bunscoil

Pupils from all classes can now go to the Club Iarscoile. The club caters for Rang 1 and Rang 2 from 2:00 pm to 3:00pm and from 3:00pm to 4:30pm Naíscoil Charn Tóchair opens its doors to accomodate the pupils from Rang3 to Rang 7.

The pupils are accompanied to the afterschools club by the monitors and they are given time to do their homework. Once they have done their homwork they can have a bite to eat before playing or taking part in the activities that have been organized.

A full programme of activities still has to be worked out but the emphasis will be on having a good time while speaking Irish.
