Children enjoy An carn cultural workshops
Young people in the Maghera area have enjoyed the opportunity to explore their culture through music and art activities, during a week of cultural workshops in An Carn Resource Centre.
part funded by Magherafelt Aarts Trust, the workshops allowed children to explaore recording sounds and composing beats using drums, percussion, instruments and their hands. No previous musical experience was needed and the children worked with experienced tutors, including Joan McEldowney, David Cooper and Aidan Milligan.
