The Association wishes to encourage and empower people of all ages to get involved in the future development and management of the buildings and facilities at Carntogher, through volunteering.
Carntogher Launches Volunteer Project - April 2007
Carntogher Community Association welcomed over 30 volunteers to the community garden, at An Carn Resource Centre on Sunday 1 April, to help celebrate the launch of their new volunteer project which has received grant funding to the tune of £76, 515.

Be part of something bigger - Volunteer Today
On Friday 11th November 2005, Joe Mahon of Lesser Spotted Ulster launched a unique and innovative Volunteering project organised by Carntogher Community Association. The project will provide opportunities for people to engage with their local environment and community through volunteering. In today’s hectic world many people feel cut off from their local surroundings and are searching for ways to reconnect and to become part of “something bigger”
